This past weekend MIC played the Easy Street Night Club in Orange, Massachusetts with our good friends Rebuilding the Ruins and a few other local acts.  Not having played Western Mass since my (Shatter This World) days I was apprehensive as to how the turnout would be? Western Mass is home to some of the biggest bands in the heavy music industry. Bands like Grammy nominated Killswitch Engage, the Acacia Strain, Shadows Fall, and Within the Ruins all hailing from this area have made some major waves in the heavy music scene. Considering all those things tonight perhaps, was an off night to say the least? Really no people and kind of a drab atmosphere. Oh well you win some you loose some and that's the name of the game when playing in bands!?  I do however have to lend my thanks and appreciation to the sound guy who was very nice and easy to work with, and Graham Russin the gentlemen who put on the show he was a solid guy and came through on just about everything MIC needed in order to put on a killer show!
