This weekend MIC traveled to Brooklyn New York to the Trash Bar to play the March Metal Beatdown Festival II. This being my first time in Brooklyn I was extremely excited to come to the Big Apple and experience all the great things it has to offer like culture, great music, and of course pizza! The Trash Bar located on Congress St. in the heart of Brooklyn is a widely regarded bar throughout the city known for hosting  great musical acts and putting on great shows! Like most bars in the NY area they're wasn't a shortage of people, upon arrival we were happy to see most of whom filling in for the free open bar they host from 7-8 pm nightly!  With the night getting off to a good start I was eager to get on stage and play the set, it seemed the crowd was very upbeat and ready to have a good time and that's what we intended on giving them. The other bands on the bill all performed awesome, we were happy to play with some talented bands and for sure made some new friends in the city.  Overall it was a good night, MIC had a great set, the crowd was charged, and we enjoyed some great NY style pizza!
